A Return To Cyclical Time

The Original Time  Keepers

The Venus of Laussel, or "Femme à la Corne" ("Woman with a Horn" in French), is a significant prehistoric artifact that provides profound insights into the early understanding of time. This 18.11-inch tall bas-relief sculpture, dating back approximately 25,000 years to the Gravettian period, was discovered in a limestone rock shelter in the Dordogne valley of France. The sculpture depicts a naked woman holding a horn, with her hand resting on her womb. The figure's pronounced yoni (vulva), enlarged belly, and thick thighs are symbols of fertility, while the use of red ochre, an iron-rich pigment commonly used in prehistoric religious rites and fertility rituals, suggests the sacredness of the female form.

The Venus of Laussel is particularly significant because it represents one of the earliest records of timekeeping. The notches on the horn she holds are believed to correspond with the lunar cycles, mirroring the menstrual cycles of women. This discovery indicates that women were the first timekeepers, recognizing and recording the natural rhythms of their bodies in harmony with the cycles of the Moon. This ancient understanding of time is foundational to the Yonist philosophy and serves as the inspiration for the Yonism Calendar.

Below is the full year at a glance, complete with the 13 months indicated by their Yonic (our sacred language) names. No longer do we pay homage to the greco-roman calendar!

The Yonism Calendar is a reawakening of humanity's original recognition of time as aligned with the lunar cycles. It consists of 13 months, each with 28 days, perfectly correlating with the 13 lunar cycles in a year. This calendar reflects the true rhythm of nature, unlike the Gregorian calendar, which was created primarily for economic purposes such as tax collection.

In Yonism, we reject the artificial constructs of a society ruled by capitalism. Instead, we embrace a way of life that is in harmony with nature, guided by the natural cycles of the Moon. The 13 Moon, 28-Day Calendar is a new standard of time for those who seek a genuinely new world. When the calendar and time we follow are irregular, artificial, and mechanized, our minds and our world become the same. This disconnection from natural rhythms is reflected in the current state of our world—chaotic, unnatural, and disconnected from the Earth.

By following a calendar that is harmonic and in tune with the natural cycles, we align our minds and lives with the true order of the cosmos. The 13 Moon Calendar comprises 364 days, perfectly divided into 52 weeks of 7 days each. The 365th day, known as the "Day of Reset" or the "Day Out of Time," is not counted as part of any moon or week. It is a sacred pause—a day of reflection, rest, and intention-setting for the new cycle ahead.

The first day of the Yonism Calendar corresponds with the Spring Equinox, marking the beginning of the season of blooms. By aligning our calendar with the natural cycles of the seasons, we are initiated into an ancient consciousness that transforms our minds and actions, fostering a deep reverence for our home, the Earth, and ourselves.

The 13 Moon Calendar is more than just a tool for timekeeping; it is an evolutionary instrument designed to guide humanity toward unity with each other and with the source of all life. By embracing the inescapable order, perfection, and simplicity of this calendar, we elevate our collective consciousness into the frequency of the **5th Dimension**, ushering in the Golden Age of the Primordials.

In Yonism, the calendar is not merely a means of tracking days but a sacred guide that reconnects us with the rhythms of the universe, leading us back to our natural state of harmony with all creation.
